Scottish Government’s Woodland Creation Route Map 

The newly-published (February 2025) Woodland Creation Route Map sets out the direction, policies and actions that will support woodland creation and the forestry sector through to 2030. 

Closely aligning with Scotland’s Forestry Strategy and Implementation Plan, the Route Map captures the breadth and depth of current and future developments and will help ensure a coordinated approach to the creation of new woodlands.
